Get a notebook or something to write while you reflect! I'm pretty sure we all will get something out of this! No one is perfect but we all can work on growing to become better!

I thought this devotional was really good and needed to be shared! It says:

It's difficult to give a helping hand to a boss who doesn't treat you well, or even someone who cheats, lies, or harms you. However, God challenges us to do just that. Try selecting someone who fits into one of those categories and do something nice for them.

Gr8 Opportunity!

I was blessed with the opportunity to speak to 20 7 year old girls last Friday here in Homewood, Al. It was a small gathering at one of the girls house. The girls mothers decided to gather them all together once a month and have a speaker to come in and tell them about Christ, their testimony, & encourage them. Once I was asked to speak, there was no hesitation on my part which was kind of weird because normally I get a little nervous when asked to speak infront of people. I went and basically talked about how my mom taught me to pray at an early age and how it stuck with me throughout my life. I talked about 2 of my favorite verses which comes from James 4:6 and Jeremiah 29:11. I basically encouraged them to pray every night and thank God for all he has done. I felt really good once I left there because I really felt like they got it! I'm thankful for that opportunity.

Prayer Will Get US Through!

2 Corinthians 12:9-10

9 Each time he said, "My grace is all you need. My Power works best in weaknesses." So now I am glad to boast about my weaknesses, so that the power of Christ can work through me. 10 That's why I take pleasure in my weaknesses, and in the insults, hardships, persecutions, and troubles that I suffer for Christ. For when I am weak, then I am Strong 

After a while you learn...

After some time you learn the difference, 

The subtle difference between holding a hand and chaining a soul. 

And you learn that love doesn’t mean leaning, 

And company doesn’t always mean security. 

And you begin to learn that kisses aren’t contracts, 

And presents aren’t promises. 

And you begin to accept your defeats, 

With your head up and your eyes ahead, 

With the grace of a man, not the grief of a child. 

And you learn to build all your roads on today, 

Because tomorrow’s ground is too uncertain for plans, 

And futures have a way of falling down in mid-flight. 

After a while you learn, 

That even the sun burns if you get too much, 

And learn that it doesn’t matter how much you do care about,

And that good friends are the family,

Which allows us to choose.

You learn that we don’t have to switch our friends, 

If we understand that friends can also change. 

You realize that you are your best friend,

And that you can do anything, or nothing, 

And have good moments together. 

You discover that the people who you most care about in your life,

So we must always leave the people who we care about with lovely words,

You discover that sometimes, 

The person who you most expect to be kicked by when you fall, 

Is one of the few who will help you to stand up. 

You learn that maturity has more to do with the kinds of experiences you had 

And what you have learned from them, 

Than how many birthdays you have celebrated. 

You learn that there are more from you parents inside you than you thought. 

You learn that we shall never tell a child that dreams are silly, 

Very few things are so humiliating, 

And it would be a tragedy if she believed in it. 

You learn that when you are angry, 

You have the right to be angry, 

But this doesn’t give you the right to be cruel. 

You discover that only because someone doesn’t love you the way you would like her to, 

It doesn’t mean that this person doesn’t love you the most she can, 

Because there are people who love us, 

But just don’t know how to show or live that. 

You learn that sometimes it isn’t enough being forgiven by someone, 

Sometimes you have to learn how to forgive yourself. 

You learn that with the same harshness you judge, 

Some day you will be condemned. 

You learn that it doesn’t matter in how many pieces your heart has been broken,

The world doesn’t stop for you to fix it. 

You learn that time isn’t something you can turn back, 

Therefore you must plant your own garden and decorate your own soul, 

Instead of waiting for someone to bring you flowers. 

And you learn that you really can endure. 

You really are strong .

And you can go so farther than you thought you could go. 

And that life really has a value. 

And you have value within the life. 

And that our gifts are betrayers, 

And make us lose The good we could conquer, 

If it wasn’t for the fear of trying.

YOUR MESS!

Every Morning I try to check this Devotion App! This morning it spoke directly to me! This is what it said.

It says...Where do you turn when your life turns into a MESS? How do you pick up the pieces? A MESS is always easier to clean when you have someone helping you. God is just waiting for you to invite HIM into your mess!

Each of us walk different roads in our faith with God. While it takes a lot of courage to open up our wounds, it's also good to share stories of faith with friends. Each person walks away reminded of the blessings from God in their own lives as well as encouraged to see the work of God in others' lives. Share with someone how God is working in your life! You never know how much it can help and impact them.
